DENIM STRIPES.

90s Denim Jacket: Rokit Vintage
Striped Ringer Tee: Urban Outfitters
Ripped Jeans: Topshop (Joni)
Shoes: Vans Old Skool
Bag: Kanken

Whenever I find my self coming to write these blog posts I feel very self centered as all the pictures are of me.... but it is an Outfit Of the Day so I have an excuse! I really love this outfit because of how casual yet 'cool' it is. I recently purchased some Black old skool Vans and im in love with them! I remember seeing Rachel Green from Friends wear them and ever since, I've fallen in love and so happy I got myself a pair. This is also a new t-shirt in which I've been eyeing up for a while. After purchasing my Topshop Ringer Tee, I've wanted all the UO ones! My trusty black jeans are something I wear everyday because they're so incredibly easy to style! I wore this outfit to Gay Pride in Birmingham! I think it's such a good thing to support this because everyone should have equal rights - (deep message in the blog today!). It was such a good atmosphere filled with many characters and colour! I have also found a new favourite drink at Starbucks and that is the Iced Americano - AMAZING! One last thing! Ever since cutting most of my hair off, I've struggled to create different hairstyles that will work on my head! I know its very simple but the French Plaits I created today- I'm rather proud of!

KNEE SOCKS.

Denim Jacket: Vintage Valentino
Black Top: New Look
Tartan pleated Skirt: COW Vintage Rework
Knee Socks: Top shop
Dr Martens Shoes
Choker: EBay store
Kanken Bag

As you may have noticed the other day I went to The Vintage Kilo sale and ventured out to The Custard Factory in Digbeth! I really loved my outfit so thought I'd share with you extra snaps I took on that day! I love my denim jacket and as it's getting closer to spring and summer where the weather is picking up and the sun is coming out I think its more appropriate to wear it. I got this skirt for only £4 from COW and I cant believe I haven't worn it more often! The title of this post is called knee socks as well im wearing them! I decided to be more confident and I love the style so I went for it! I think they make an outfit look so different and I paired them with light denier tights for a better effect. The socks give a more 90's edge to the outfit!

BIRMINGHAM VINTAGE KILO SALE | ad

First off, let me just apologise for how picture heavy this post is but I simply cannot help it! I was invited to the Birmingham Vintage Kilo sale by a lovely girl called Jenessa. I've been to the event once before and got a few items but this time I knew what I was doing and got quite a lot of vintage bargains! If you haven't heard of the Vintage Kilo sale, it is basically where tonnes of vintage clothing from the 1960s-90s are put in huge rummage tubs and rails for people to look through. You can pick & mix items you like by putting them in a vintage kilo carrier bag, and when you’ve finished shopping, you take it to the weighing tills where you will be charged £15 per kilo. I've found that you can literally get a whole new wardrobe for super cheap - I certainly have for S/S15!

Now, firstly when I was welcomed in, I immediately was very jealous of Jenessa's paisley print shirt and dress. She looked amazing! I went rail to rail and picked up lots and lots of items which were slightly more colourful than my normal wardrobe! I think there was a lot of things I could have picked up- especially shoes - but I kept it all clothes and I'm so excited to wear it all! I met a lovely girl with a beautiful, brightly coloured Kanken! I had to take a picture with us standing together because I simply loved it! Maybe I'll treat myself to a yellow Kanken soon!

Since we are leaving winter behind and we are entering spring and summer, I did take that into consideration when picking things up! I decided I needed more dresses and skirts so luckily I found loads I loved. I really adore pinafores and I got one which will be so good to layer with a white ringer tee underneath! I also wanted to go out of my comfort zone a little, so I got a tea length skirt with a gorgeous patch print on! I think in the summer with some converse or doc martens I will get a super cute yet grungy look. Shirts and collars have always been something I love- I managed to find 3 different style tops that I can layer and wear in different ways!

If you ever get chance to go to one of these events and you love vintage its an amazing experience and I love it! For more info and event listings check out the Vintage Kilo Facebook page here!

VICTORIAS SECRET.

Hello lovelies! This isn't exactly a haul it's more of a product review even though I've only had it for a couple of days! Very recently Victoria's Secret opened in the Bullring in Birmingham and I've been loving it! As it is January, the sales have been very good especially in Victoria's Secret. There was an amazing selection and I wish I had have bought more but what I did purchase I love it and it was in the sale for £9 from £36. It's a sleep shirt and its this gorgeous pink and white stripe shirt with the Victoria's Secret emblem on the pocket. It's absolutely gorgeous and so soft- perfect for sleeping in! I'm so happy that Victoria's Secret has opened in the Bullring as it is my favourite place to shop!

DARK LOVE.

Camel Coat: Primark
Black Jumper: Primark
Shoes: River Island
Kanken: Urban Outfitters
Jeans: Primark
Hat: Primark

Hello Lovelies. I must admit this is a very Primark based outfit but looks so chic. I absolutely love dark colours and monochrome themed outfits! I originally wanted to wear a black coat but then realised that my whole outfit would have been too gothic for my taste. I added my favourite coat from Primark which does very much keep me warm and used the very infamous Kanken as my bag choice. I haven't worn my chunky cut out booties in a while, so today I grabbed them and actually really love them with this outfit. I recently reinvented an old bracelet into a new necklace and also ordered a choker from a store on EBay! I layered the two together and really love it. The hat just makes this outfit so chic and classy. It's such a pretty hat and just finishes the outfit.... it also kept my head really warm. I wore this outfit to Birmingham shopping and surprisingly only bought one item! It was a sneaky purchase as it was from Victoria's Secret but I'll show you that in another post!

LATE NIGHT TRIPS.

Hello. So this is quite an overdue post. I remember taking these photos about 1-2 weeks ago and I completely forgot about them! I didn't want them to go to waste even if the New Year is right here and Christmas has passed! These are taken at the Custard Factory which is definitely an amazing place to take photos- even at night. It looked super pretty with all the lights on and the trees lit up! My outfit is pretty simple but perfect to keep warm during these colder months! I'm in love with this camel coat and perhaps wear it with every single one of my outfits! My scarf is from New Look and I have plenty of tartan scarfs as they are so wintery and gorgeous!

DOWN IN DIGBETH.

So I was down in Digbeth when loveliest woman stopped me and said she loved my outfit and would like to take a picture for her blog! Of course I accepted and today I went and looked on Street Style Snaps and there the post was! It was so lovely to have my outfit noticed and it was really fun to talk to her.

Down in Digbeth there was a sale on which made me very happy although I didn't buy anything from there, which is a little strange for me but when I got home after a day of inspiration, I went online to Boohoo.com and ordered a velvet swing dress! Today though, I went shopping...again, and bought a Navy velvet skirt and a Black velvet dress. Can you tell I'm obsessed with velvet right now? I find it so christmassy and perfect for winter! I think I'm going to do a Winter haul soon so you will be able to see everything I've been buying as there is a lot!

I'm also considering doing a look book, so if you are interested in seeing that please comment below! THANKYOU.

ED SHEERAN.

I WENT TO SEE ED SHEERAN!!! For my Birthday my sister very generously bought me tickets to see Ed Sheeran and he was incredible. The support act was amazing and i've actually downloaded his album now and he was called Saint Raymond. If you haven't seen Ed live before you must! He was so amazing and unbelievably talented! His voice was so good like words cannot describe how perfect this night was. It was the best night of my year so far. My love for Ed has grown even more and I wish I could go back right now. Ed looked rather attractive and he came on and started singing 'Im a mess' which is one of my favourites. When you could just hear he crowd singing, it was rather sensational I must say and his voice was so incredible I could listen to him all day. Some of my favourite songs he sang were:
Don't
Sing
Im a mess
Bloodstream
Runaway
Lego House
I see fire
Give me love

URBAN OUTFITTERS & ZOELLA BEAUTY

Hello Lovelies! This is a super mini post for you just because I had a few things that I have purchased recently but haven't had enough things to do a super massive haul! I went into Urban Outfitters the other day and I must have tried on the entire store but I just cant afford to buy any more clothes- at the moment. But I did manage to get a book which I've had my eye on for a few weeks. This book is normally £15.99 but I got it for £8 in the sale which is incredible! I also wanted the UO Ear cuff ever since I saw Tanya Burr wear it and this was £3 reduced from £8 so a complete bargain.
Im a big fan of Zoella so talking about 'Zoella Beauty' is very strange but im so proud of Zoe and unbelievably happy with what I got! I hope you liked this mini post and there's plenty more to see soon!

KILO SALE & COW VINTAGE.

Hello Lovelies! In my previous post I went vintage shopping but didn't quite show you what I got... I have now though and im super excited to show you! The first item was a classic flannel shirt which is slightly oversized but I really liked and this was from the Vintage Kilo Sale. To make up that kilo I also got two jumpers! The first greeny coloured one is definitely my favourite! Its so warm and fuzzy so perfect for winter. The next jumper has quite a high neck which is great to keep warm in the colder months and I thought it was very cosy! These 3 items were only £15 which is incredible, especially for jumpers.

Once I moved on and went to COW Vintage I got a little bit carried away by vintage and got 3 more items! The coolest thing though was for these 3 items it only cost me £10. COW had a 3 for £10 rail on so I took the opportunity. I got a Ralph Lauren shirt which is so cool and would normally be extremely expensive but I was lucky! I also got some shorts which may or may not be re-worked but they are high waisted and would look great with some tights and boots in the winter! As some of you may have seen I've been to Paris and couldn't resist this T-shirt when I saw it! I feel like I have a whole new wardrobe but I love it all and I hope you do aswell! Love you.

VINTAGE SHOPPING.

I cannot express my pure excitement of this shopping trip! In Birmingham there was a Vintage Kilo sale on which means you pick out as many items as you want and for £15 per kilo you purchase it! Amazingly I spent bang on 1 Kilo! I also took a trip to the wonderful COW and got a few items from there. Im going to show everything I bought in a separate blog post because its all too good to rush through. Although there are some sneaky pictures here that have things I bought on them! It was a really good atmosphere in the sale and I'm very happy with everything I bought especially at the price it was!
