List of Loves - June Favourites! | Laura Ann

Hello Lovelies!

So I haven't done a favourites blog yet but I've wanted to for a long time but I didn't feel I had enough to talk about....until now! Lets just jump right in! Here are this months favourites!

The first thing is my amazing Penny Board! Last August, on the very last day in New York I purchased a Penny Board! I had really wanted one for a very long time but never bought one... until this holiday! I met two lovely workers called Ben and Byron who helped me out and I've never been so happy with a purchase (apart from clothes they're fabulous!) So this is my Penny!

 

 

The next thing I have been loving is this book: Alexa Chung IT! Let me tell you something, its incredible! Possibly the greatest book I have ever read EVER. The way it is written is so relatable even though her life is much more fabulous than mine, you kind of connect with it! I got it from Urban Outfitters for £16.99 which I guess is expensive for a book but its completely and utterly worth it!

I'm a complete shoe addict and its gotten quite serious as im stealing my sisters shoes now... We both love Converse and my sister has awesome ones especially these which are so funky and great for summer as they're really bright and colourful! I think these are limited Edition but I don't remember as they are from Florida in 2010.

 

 

 

Back to Books! Ever heard of John Green? Of course he's the author of many books but most popular The Fault in Our Stars! Although im not talking about that one- Paper Towns. Im reading Paper Towns and im addicted- not going into too much detail but its just as good as Tfios!

 









Next on my list of loves is a Kimono! The very popular, the very amazing Kimono. I think these look amazing dressed up or dressed down but I honestly love them! Mine is a very bright pink Patterned design from Primark for just £13!

This is me wearing the Kimono obviously!

I Went to the custard Factory in Birmingham the other day and there's this Vintage store that I fell in love with! I bought some Glasses from there and im now officially addicted to them! I feel they make an outfit abit different and they look very chic!

My Current Favourites!

Hello Everyone!

I have started 2014 off loving a lot of things clothes to beauty products! I thought id share with you what im loving so lets get straight to it!

The first thing, which I got at Christmas, is this Clinique Cleanser! It is amazing! Before I'd never really used a cleanser I just used cheap makeup wipes but using this has made me realise how moisturising it is to the skin! When I use it and afterwards too my skin feels so much better and refreshed which is so good! I defiantly recommend this cleanser! 

This next item I also got at Christmas and its the Maybelline 'Falsies' Mascara. Its so good and really does give volume to the lashes! Its my favourite mascara from my whole collection!

These next two things are perfumes and I have had them for a while but these are my favourites ever! They are the 'Justin Bieber Girlfriend perfume' and 'Justin Bieber The Key' I ran out of the actual perfume bottles but short story when I went to see the 'Believe Movie' they were handing out free samples and my friend and I got about nine of each! So yes they smell amazing and don't underestimate the name! They are fabulous!

Im sure everyone knows the 'Maybelline Baby lips' but this one is my favourite and its in 'Cherry me'. I have found this is the most moisturising for me and works nicest! It is also slightly tinted so that's great for school too!  

 

 

The next thing came in a set from Seventeen but you can buy it on its own and that's this eyeliner! there's not much to say apart from BUY IT! Its brilliant and works really nicely!

Im sure you already know my obsession with these shoes but I had to throw them in! I love them, they're so comfortable and pretty! They go with everything so its great!

You may also know my obsession with Tartan! But yes these three pieces - two tartan dresses and tartan trousers- are just addictive to wear! They look amazing with so many different styled outfits and just are perfect! I've found that the trousers and the right tartan dress actually are very slimming and make your figure stand out so nicely!

Right, I think I'll just go with it then! My 11 random facts! I'm not the most random of people!

1) I can do the alphabet backwards in under 4 seconds!

2) I cannot walk past Starbucks without buying something! Oopsy!

3) I'm the only person in my family who has blue eyes!

4) I was born on the 9/9/1999 at 9:49

5) My ringtone never changes, it's always the Mission Impossible theme tune!

6) I've been to America 4 times - Florida three times and New York Once - America is my favourite place!

7) I go to a lot of concerts! They're like one of my favourite things!

8) I crave pancakes 24/7, but never actually eat them unless it's pancake day!

9) I want to live in London!

10) I cant stand it when people walk really slow and drag their feet!

11) I get into my pyjamas straight after school unless I'm going out! Better to be comfy!

1) How many pets have you had? Names and other info.

    I've never had a pet! I've been deprived of having one as my sister and Dad have reactions to them!

 2) Favourite day of the week?

    I'd like to say Saturday! But during school Tuesday's are my favourite!

3) If every makeup brand bankrupted and you could only save one, which would it be?

    Oh my goodness! What would I choose, there are so many! I'd have to save Rimmel London, because I use it most!

4) If you had to move anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I'd move to New York, USA because there's so much to do and different areas that range instead of it all the same!

5) Favourite Book?

I have loads, but currently 'Let It Snow' by John Green, otherwise 'The Fault In Our Stars'!

6) First watched YouTuber/Blogger?

I have a lot that I started watching, but the main two on YouTube are Zoe Sugg (Zoella) and Tanya Burr! 

Bloggers: Danielle Kimberly - I found her on Instagram and she has such a good blog! Then the obvious ones are Tanya and Zoe! But I read and watch a lot of people!

7) Have you ever dyed your hair, if yes what colours?

I have, but only half my head! Kind of dip dye, but more subtle and blonde!

8) Favourite place to go?

In the UK, London, it's amazing! But from around where I live, Birmingham is really good for shops! Just in general, shopping is my favourite place to go!

9) Summer or Winter?

A lot may disagree, but I prefer Winter! It's all cosy and cute! Plus, Christmas is in Winter, so really it's a win-win situation!

10) Favourite Quote?

Its a long one ok! This quote is from One Tree Hill!

There's just so many! Probably for a Boy/Man Louis Cole (Fun For Louis) as he lives an adventure and looks amazing! For a Girl I'm going to stick to YouTubers I think - Zoe Sugg! She's absolutely gorgeous and has an amazing life from what I can see haha! Also I want her hair!

The Christmas TAG!

Yes it's that time of year: THE CHRISTMAS TAG!!!!
I'm going to be doing some blogmassy type of things in the run up to December 25th! On YouTube you may have heard of vlogmas and its basically that but written down!

Anyway lets get started on the Christmas Tag!

What's your favourite holiday movie?
I have so many! I could list them all, but I love 'ELF' and 'The Holiday'! Oooo and 'Miracle on 34th Street' - classic!

What are your favourite Christmas colours?
Red + Gold + Silver + Green

Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?
Personally, my family stay in pyjamas for presents and then get dressed up around midday for the rest of Christmas!

If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?
My mom, it's time for me to treat her, because she works so damn hard all year round :)

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Morning, obviously!!!

Have you ever built a Ginger Bread House?
I haven't, but I said I would this year, so lets wait and see shall we!

What do you like to do on your Christmas Break?
Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, putting up decorations and playing Christmas music and of course blogging a lot of the time!

I have a lot! First, the smell of Christmas Dinner! Second a 'Caramel Apple Yankee Candle' and third the smell of pine from the Christmas Tree!

Meal - of course, the Christmas Dinner! Treat - I love a good ol' chocolate pudding and cream!! :)

My October Favourites!

October has just been and gone, so I'm going to tell you what my monthly favourites were!
These are my Top 5 that I have used frequently in October and still use now:

1. Kate <3 Rimmel London Lipstick in 107 - I love the colour of this lipstick, it feels very autumnal and looks great!
   

1. Batiste Dry Shampoo Monochrome - The 'Batiste Dry Shampoo' is brilliant for when you're feeling lazy! I got it in monochrome, because, well, it looked pretty!
   

1. Maybelline Baby Lips: Hydrate - Baby Lips is very popular recently and I totally understand why, it's brilliant and leaves your lips feeling hydrated!
   

1. Starbucks: Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate - This Starbucks drink is one of my favourite's, it's Christmassy and warm when you're cold from a nice walk or a shopping spree!
   

1. Babylis Ombre Hair Straighteners - The 'Ombre Hair Straighteners' are brilliant, they leave your hair feeling soft and also give brilliant waves!
