Fathers Day & Fashion Photography!

 

Hello everyone!

I have many posts to come but I need your help! I've been interested in photography a lot, especially linking to fashion so I need your guys opinions on things that I post in the future so just comment below for me what you think!

Anyway today was Fathers Day and we went out to Birmingham! We went to The Custard Factory which is an urban area where many graffiti artists make art and also there are some really cool vintage shops and office spaces! It was a lovely day!

There were some amazing photography spots which really interested me and my Dad! 

For my outfit I went for a classy chic style with a bright red lipstick and a classic bowler hat!

The pictures are taken by my Dad so that's a bonus!!

The glasses I'm wearing are from a vintage store in the Custard Factory and I fell in love with them!! My bowler Hat is from Boohoo.com and my blazer was from New Look!

New Buys: River Island Shoes

Hello Everyone!

So I have spent even more money! I swear I have a problem because I can't go a day without shopping or spending a little bit of money BUT I have wanted this particular pair of shoes for a very long time but could never afford them!

I went into my local river island and went straight to the sale and in the shoe I wanted in the last size for £15 from £45 were the exact shoes I have been wanting!! That last size was my size it was just like fate!

The shoes are very stylish and go with every outfit! I know they're not for everyone but I seriously love them with a passion!

They are the chunky cut out boots that look a little like this:

My Favourite Perfumes

Hello Everyone!

So this is just basically my perfume collection!! I have a slight obsession with perfume and may have gotten too many recently! I also steal my moms perfume so that's perhaps not the best thing but I do get good use out of them!

This first one is Calvin Klein Eternity and it smells delicious, I'd definitely get it again!

This next one is Versace Bright Crytsal and I got this from New York in Macy's! If I had the money I'd buy it again as it's not to strong but just perfect!

This one is Si by Giorgio Armani and as you can tell I haven't used it as much but that's not to say I don't like it because I do! It smells divine and honestly amazing!

This next one is The Key by Justin Bieber! Now this is one of the cheaper perfumes I own but also one of the best smelling ones I have! It has almost run out so I'm seriously going to buy it again it smells so good!

Now my final one is Friction by FCUK! This one is very sweet but not to obvious! And that is why I love it! The bottle is actually empty because I ran out of it the other day *sad face* but hopefully I shall get some more!

My Current Favourites!

Hello Everyone!

I have started 2014 off loving a lot of things clothes to beauty products! I thought id share with you what im loving so lets get straight to it!

The first thing, which I got at Christmas, is this Clinique Cleanser! It is amazing! Before I'd never really used a cleanser I just used cheap makeup wipes but using this has made me realise how moisturising it is to the skin! When I use it and afterwards too my skin feels so much better and refreshed which is so good! I defiantly recommend this cleanser! 

This next item I also got at Christmas and its the Maybelline 'Falsies' Mascara. Its so good and really does give volume to the lashes! Its my favourite mascara from my whole collection!

These next two things are perfumes and I have had them for a while but these are my favourites ever! They are the 'Justin Bieber Girlfriend perfume' and 'Justin Bieber The Key' I ran out of the actual perfume bottles but short story when I went to see the 'Believe Movie' they were handing out free samples and my friend and I got about nine of each! So yes they smell amazing and don't underestimate the name! They are fabulous!

Im sure everyone knows the 'Maybelline Baby lips' but this one is my favourite and its in 'Cherry me'. I have found this is the most moisturising for me and works nicest! It is also slightly tinted so that's great for school too!  

 

 

The next thing came in a set from Seventeen but you can buy it on its own and that's this eyeliner! there's not much to say apart from BUY IT! Its brilliant and works really nicely!

Im sure you already know my obsession with these shoes but I had to throw them in! I love them, they're so comfortable and pretty! They go with everything so its great!

You may also know my obsession with Tartan! But yes these three pieces - two tartan dresses and tartan trousers- are just addictive to wear! They look amazing with so many different styled outfits and just are perfect! I've found that the trousers and the right tartan dress actually are very slimming and make your figure stand out so nicely!

Right, I think I'll just go with it then! My 11 random facts! I'm not the most random of people!

1) I can do the alphabet backwards in under 4 seconds!

2) I cannot walk past Starbucks without buying something! Oopsy!

3) I'm the only person in my family who has blue eyes!

4) I was born on the 9/9/1999 at 9:49

5) My ringtone never changes, it's always the Mission Impossible theme tune!

6) I've been to America 4 times - Florida three times and New York Once - America is my favourite place!

7) I go to a lot of concerts! They're like one of my favourite things!

8) I crave pancakes 24/7, but never actually eat them unless it's pancake day!

    I've never had a pet! I've been deprived of having one as my sister and Dad have reactions to them!

 2) Favourite day of the week?

    I'd like to say Saturday! But during school Tuesday's are my favourite!

3) If every makeup brand bankrupted and you could only save one, which would it be?

    Oh my goodness! What would I choose, there are so many! I'd have to save Rimmel London, because I use it most!

4) If you had to move anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I'd move to New York, USA because there's so much to do and different areas that range instead of it all the same!

5) Favourite Book?

I have loads, but currently 'Let It Snow' by John Green, otherwise 'The Fault In Our Stars'!

6) First watched YouTuber/Blogger?

I have a lot that I started watching, but the main two on YouTube are Zoe Sugg (Zoella) and Tanya Burr! 

Bloggers: Danielle Kimberly - I found her on Instagram and she has such a good blog! Then the obvious ones are Tanya and Zoe! But I read and watch a lot of people!

7) Have you ever dyed your hair, if yes what colours?

I have, but only half my head! Kind of dip dye, but more subtle and blonde!

8) Favourite place to go?

In the UK, London, it's amazing! But from around where I live, Birmingham is really good for shops! Just in general, shopping is my favourite place to go!

9) Summer or Winter?

A lot may disagree, but I prefer Winter! It's all cosy and cute! Plus, Christmas is in Winter, so really it's a win-win situation!

10) Favourite Quote?

Its a long one ok! This quote is from One Tree Hill!

JLS Concert: Outfit of the Evening and Meeting Support Acts!

Hello Everyone!

So, yesterday evening I went to The JLS: Goodbye Concert at the LG Arena in Birmingham! It was amazing, but so emotional! They're one of my favourite groups and seeing them live was just perfect!

Before JLS performed there were three support acts and I met two them - NVS and Hatty Keane! I've seen NVS at JLS' previous tour, but had never met them! Everyone was so lovely! Danny from NVS is my favourite and he hugged me! WOW!

Outfit of the Day: Trip to the Theatre & Birmingham German Christmas Market!

Hello Everyone!
Yesterday, I went to see Miracle on 34th Street at the Theatre! It was so good and I really enjoyed it, just in case you were wondering! After the theatre we also visited the German Christmas Market and it is huge! It smelt so good and looked so pretty at night!

I decided I would dress up a bit and show you what I'm wearing! If you have read previous blog posts you may know that I love tartan and the other day I took a trip to Primark and bought one of the very popular tartan collar dresses! There are so many different colours but I went traditional and got the red one!

I was actually super warm because this dress is quite thick and the tights I wore were the super cosy tights from Primark!

Lush Cosmetics!

So today I went to the one and only Lush!
Lets begin with how good it smells! I have always wanted to buy something from Lush as I had seen people rave about it!

When I went in I knew I wanted the 'Candy Mountain' and I saw it straight away! Did I get it? Why yes, yes I did! 
I wanted more than one item because I'm such a greedy person *wink wink*, I kept looking for other ones and my eye always seemed to catch the melting snowman! So I picked it up!

I could have bought the whole shop, it's just that good!

The Christmas TAG!

Yes it's that time of year: THE CHRISTMAS TAG!!!!
I'm going to be doing some blogmassy type of things in the run up to December 25th! On YouTube you may have heard of vlogmas and its basically that but written down!

Anyway lets get started on the Christmas Tag!

What's your favourite holiday movie?
I have so many! I could list them all, but I love 'ELF' and 'The Holiday'! Oooo and 'Miracle on 34th Street' - classic!

What are your favourite Christmas colours?
Red + Gold + Silver + Green

Do you like to stay in your PJs or dress up for Christmas?
Personally, my family stay in pyjamas for presents and then get dressed up around midday for the rest of Christmas!

If you could only buy one person a present this year who would it be?
My mom, it's time for me to treat her, because she works so damn hard all year round :)

Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning?
Christmas Morning, obviously!!!

Have you ever built a Ginger Bread House?
I haven't, but I said I would this year, so lets wait and see shall we!

What do you like to do on your Christmas Break?
Christmas shopping, wrapping presents, putting up decorations and playing Christmas music and of course blogging a lot of the time!

Christmas and Tartan!

Hello Everyone!

So, it's Winter and that just means Christmas Christmas and more Christmas! I'm so excited and I get so excited for the new clothing that Winter brings!
 

I went shopping the other day and went looking for TARTAN. I wasn't able to find the dress I needed in my size, but when I got home I went on to the one and only boohoo.com and ordered a Tartan Peter Pan Collar dress! I'm so excited for it, as tartan has now become my favourite thing this Winter! This style is rather big this year, so no wonder why I love it so much! I have also ordered a Bowler Hat, to finish off the look; I think the pair would look amazing with brogues or boots!

I have also purchased a tartan scarf from New Look, it's so warm and cosy. I love Winter and the colours that it connotes, so Christmas for me is definitely the best time of year!
